Acorn has been the mainstay of Drifting Wood Canal Breaks since we began in 2018 and has already introduced many to the ways of the canal. At 50 foot she is the perfect size to on which to venture out for the first time. She’s amazingly maneuverable and is a pleasure to steer from the spacious rear deck, pushed along at a gentle speed by her reliable and powerful marine engine. Those not on the tiller can relax in peace in the covered forward open deck space.
All the boating equipment you need is on board including mooring ropes, hooks and chains, fenders, lock windlasses, fenders and boat hook. Safety equipment includes children’s life jackets, life ring, smoke and CO alarms and fire extinguishers.
She has a fixed double bed at the stern (rear) and the dinette at the bow (front) which pulls out to form another double bed, both extremely comfortable!
Her large galley is fully equipped with a fridge with ice box, gas hob and oven, all the cutlery, crockery, glasses and other kitchenware that you’ll need as well as plenty of space for your provisions.
