As Drifting Wood Canal Breaks does not use any remote booking agents all enquiries are taken through this website, we like to get to know our guests. In the first instance we ask you to check the availability of the dates you'd like on the calendar below, if they are available you will then be able to send us a booking request for these dates and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
The booking process is simple, once you have confirmed you wish to book the dates an invoice is sent out to you. Once you have paid the deposit the dates are then confirmed for you.
We are running all year round, as every season has its own unique beauty. Obviously maintenance works are carried out on the canals but we always have this information early so can advise in advance! We are also available for Christmas but please note there is a surcharge of £100 on the cost of this.

Due to ever increasing costs we are looking at a price increase starting 1st January 2025. Final figures are yet to be confirmed but will be published as soon as possible.
Any bookings for next year, booked before the end of the year, will be charged at 2024 prices!
Your Damage/Security Deposit £100 ... We will send you a link to pay this the week before your arrival. This will be returned via bank payment once the boat has been fully cleaned and the signed inventory finally checked.
We also now offer 'Pay In Installments' Where you can pay the remaining balance, after the payment of the deposit, in three equal payments!
... Please note full payment must still be received 28 days prior to your adventure. We know things are tough and we hope this helps!
And remember, all our prices include fuel, gas - no hidden extras!
WiFi ... Everyone's needs are different and with that in mind I have chosen to give 1GB FREE WiFi per night of hire ... So a three night hire has 3GB data included in the booking, seven night hire has 7GB data included. Nice and simple I hope! The only additional charge is IF you go above your free data usage a fee of £1.00 per full additional GB used will be taken from your damage deposit. When boarding you will be able to see and confirm the data usage on arrival so you can rest assured you would only pay for what hasn't been included.

However please don't worry, for UK guests it's a simple bank transaction but we are aware it can be more complicated from overseas and we are pleased to say one of our amazing customers has found the solution!

By the way we don't get any credit for popping them on here, it is simply that it worked so well for this customer that I decided to pop it up here - Same day transaction from USA to UK and the rates are the cheapest currently on the market ... Could save time, hassle and money ... definitely worth a look!

The calendars below allow you to send a booking enquiry directly from them, this then marks your selected dates as 'Pending', please note that this will only hold the dates for seven days from your initial contact, after this time the dates will revert to available unless you have paid your deposit or confirmed you wish to book, so please bear this in mind. You can of course simply use the contact form if you wish to make a general enquiry or have a question!
***Please note ... When sending a booking request please do not include any dates that are at the start or end of another booking as these are not available. We do not send our boats out on the same day as a return! So to save disappointment select only clear days for the start and finish of your adventure.
